You suspect your purchasing agent is on the take.
An employee complains of sexual harassment.
You get a call from a customer that her credit card information has been misused.
A labourer lays down tools, claiming the working conditions are unsafe.
Now what do you do?
The Canadian Institute’s course on Conducting Internal Investigations gives you the practical information you need to conduct an internal investigation that will do the job and stand up to scrutiny, whether by regulators or shareholders.
Now offered in Western Canada for the first time, this course covers the essential skills you’ll need no matter what the subject matter of the investigation: how to choose the right investigator, plan the investigation, carry it out, reach conclusions, write a report and follow up.
On the second afternoon you’ll apply what you’ve learned to practical exercises in investigation planning and interviewing skills.
Also available is an intensive workshop on fraud investigations, on June 26, 2009.
Reduce the serious financial and reputational risks that can arise from poorly conducted internal investigations.
